He speaks at big marketing conferences, writes for big marketing blogs and he hosts a little marketing podcast, Content Matters.

Becky has been creating custom WordPress sites since 2009 and more than a few of them have included a full ecommerce shopping experience. She is the owner of Becky Davis Design, runs the Northside WordPress meetup and regularly presents on a variety of WordPress topics at SCORE Chicago and WordCamps around the world.

Before the Web, technology, and WordPress Websites, Joan was a professional classical ballet dancer for six years. In between ballet classes and school, she documented her life in writing and design on paper.

Rebecca has been practicing content strategy long before content strategy had a name. She began planning and developing content for Northwestern Memorial Hospital in 1999 to help patients find health information, physicians and educational resources. She managed and mentored a team of three content specialists to provide the right information at the right time to the right audience.

Scott Winterroth

Instructor and Co-Founder

Scott is a co-founder of Content Academy and a 10-year professional of the integrated marketing and communications fields. Currently, Scott is a full-time marketing manager in addition to his duties as co-founder of Content Academy.

Prior to his current full-time position, Scott worked in a corporate communications department and was a champion for the utilization of social media for public relations strategy. Today, social media continues to be an integral component of many external communication programs and a key asset to the organization for which he worked.

Scott began his career working for a public relations agency where he assisted a variety of accounts in the for-profit and non-profit sectors.
